Assurance services fall into two levels:
Audit Engagement – This is a requirement for public companies, and some private and not-for-profit organizations. Extensive testing will validate the balances reported on your company’s financial statements.

Review Engagement – This is performed for some private companies and not-for-profit organizations when requested by the shareholders, or required by a financial institution or regulatory agency. This engagement involves performing analytical procedures and inquiries of management to validate and support to amounts recorded in the financial statements.
